Howdy all,

I'm about to purchase a new Double-Cab 4x4 Tacoma, but first I've got a question. How does the ride quality of the Sport Package compare to that of the SR5? I'm assuming the Sport will have a stiffer/rougher ride.

I'm not looking for an off-road vehicle, just something to fight the snow in.

Thanks,
Mack

I think a lot of the sports packages allow for a far smoother ride BECAUSE they are for off road. You don't feel the bumps as much. They can be a little firmer in the wheel, though.

Sports package has a different suspension than the SR5 and as kelkat wrote, it allows a smoother ride.
