Already own a 1990 Toyota truck but wish to purchase an older model (1990) 4 dr Starlet for passenger hauling.
What seems like a deal (maybe) is a 4 dr vehicle with carburettor and a 3E engine (i think). I would wish to convert to EFI, but have only an idea of the theoretical procedure. Here in Jamaica used Asian made parts abound for all grades of Starlets. Could someone suggest whether it may be easier to source an fuel injected engine rather than going through the conversion process, since I am no real gearhead (this project just may be my garage intiation).
What does the conversion entail and what to expect? All mechanics I know tell me I'll need a Wireloom (they somehow think I know what that means).
