Hi everyone. I just found this web site and am hoping for a miracle. I have a 1990 Toyota 4-Runner V6 with 269000 miles on it and my problem started about 7 years ago. Normally in the summer, but it happened the other day (it's not summer in Michigan :)) after it runs for a while and gets hot, sometimes when you shut it off, it will not start for 20 to 30 minutes. But after a time period, it always starts. I have had the alternator, battery, cables, etc changed on it but no luck. Someone mentioned to me the other day that it probably is the fuel accumulator. With all the mechanics i have taken it to no one has mentioned this. I don't even know what it is. If anyone out there can help, I would really appreciate it. Thanks. I would like to keep it till it gets old.
