> Steering Play, Loose steering joint in steering column

I have isolated some play in my steering back to the joint that pivots when you adjust the steering wheel angle. This loosness allows shuddering in the wheel when I hit any uneven pavement. Anyone else experienced this? Do I have to replace the entire assembly or??

Sounds like your steering rack bushings are shot and need to get them replaced. DIY:
