Ihave just spent a whole two hrs replacing the ugly standard stereo on my 2003 sexy celica. Ihave fitted a jvc avx2 which i had previously installed in my pug206cc without any issues. The stereo works fine but when the ignition is off for over 5 mins the memory is lost and it goes back to factory settings. Does anyone know what is wrong and what I can do to rectify this problem please.

Thanks

Its Ok I have worked it out, but thanks anyway. I had to remove the JVC stereo and swop over the connectors in the back that were connected by male and female connectors. I worked find in the pug with red to red and yellow to yellow but on the celica I had to change the over to red to yellow, red to yellow. Hope this helps if anyone else has the same problem.
