Hi, I also had a problem with my transfer indicator switch. My dealership wanted $90 for the part and about 1 week to get it. I had success with just cleaning the switch instead of having to buy a new (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) . Nice write up!! I haven't had that issue but wanted to give some kudos to what this forum should be all about!

I also have a bimmer (now super charged, etc etc) and the bimmer forum is VERy active! You post something like your DIY and you would have gotten 20 replies from around the world..

I posted some Qs and not a reply yet.. we shall see..
