Which is the best sunshield to get for the Prius? The Toyota dealer's parts person didn't seem to know the size of the windshield. Is it closer to the Echo or the Corolla.

Mine is getting the finishing touches - upholstery protection, paint sealant, rust and silencing undercoating (why the silencing I am no longer sure!) but got it anyway. So, sob I have a Camry to drive! No Prius available to rent - its out already!! My old supervisor saw it on a nearby road. Margaret still in love with Prius!

I have a custom "HeatShield" sunscreen from www.canvasworks.com. The one for the Prius is pattern #819 and sells for $29. I posted a picture of it over in the Files section of the Prius Yahoo Group. As you can see from the photo, it's a perfect fit for the Prius' windshield.

I just did a cut-n-paste of the URL in my previous post and it works fine. Maybe their site was done when you tried? Here's the phone number just in case: 1-800-777-6405.

Howdy,
just wanted to say thanks for the info on the suncreen (this yahoo club is most helpful!). I was just about to order one over the web, when I realized I live close enough to canvas works to just go buy it directly from their offices. And it's another excuse to drive the car...

Hi! I tried the URL (< www.canvasworks.com>) but it unfortunately doesn't work, and I live too far away to go to Canvas Works (though I agree, it would be a nice excuse the drive the car, but 1500 miles is a bit much). How can we get in touch with them? Thanks for the help!

See my post #5302 for an 800 number. Also, check with your Toyota dealer's parts dept. to see if they carry it. Mine does, but I live in the SF Bay Area where CanvasWorks is located.
