Following a preview at the Tokyo Auto Show, Suzuki Motor Co. will release its new MR Wagon on the 30th of January in Japan.

Design concept revolves around a mother's transportation needs. Exterior colors include pink, cyan and six other hues.

The new 660 cc "kei-class" minicar is available in either 2WD or 4WD configuration.

A one-touch central lock can not only open the doors but also start the engine.

Inside there are bright surfaces and lots of smaller bins which is convenient to store smaller items, like a bottle of milk, snack or cosmetics.

It sounds like a purse on wheels. I don't know whether to be offended or to run out and try to purchase one when they're available.

Sounds like something I'd want for my wife, but I'd be more interested in the safety ratings.

My first thought was "purse on wheels" too. I like the general idea of the vehicle, but why market it this way? I don't know, it just sounds a little sexist or something...

A purse on wheels, haha! Definitly some Euro-influence there. I think it sounds kinda neat and can't wait to see more on this! :)

It's long time since I heard that name. Suzuki is still making cars for the US?

The only thing Suzuki I have seen around here is motorcycles. Maybe they are expanding here. If anyone knows, let us know! :)

Why do I bet we never see this one in the States? LOL.

Suzuki just can't get past some old worries about their vehicles being top heavy. I wouldn't own one that's for sure.

I don't think I would want one either...I am having a hard time accepting that I have to start cruising around in a minivan (although they are very spacious and I could get used to it)....
