Greetings:
Can someone tell me how the RX300, Lexus name and logos are mounted on the RX300..? I can get a complete gold set for about half the dealer costs, but don't want to damage my new vehicle. Are they just glued or other adhesive like double sided tape, or are there screws/nuts that need to come off to remove the stock plates..?

Thanks !

Most of the logo use double side tape to mount.

The area in which the logo is mount without tape are
i. Front hood logo. You will have to remove the front grille to get to the screw.
ii. The wheel hub. You can either use a screw drive to pile up the hub(this will probably damage the original set) or take of the wheel to push the hub from behind.

The area that use the double side tape are on the back side of the SUV. These logo can be removed by using a string (dental foss, fishing lines, thread). The process is to hold it with both hands and move it in seesaw motion between the paint and the logo. This will shear the tape thus remove the logo. Please note that the L logo has pins on them be very careful when it stall that they lie up to the holes on the body. There is a rubber for each pin to prevent water leak; do make sure that you install it.

Bye
