I just purchased a 1989 and while I removed the t-bar panels and checked for rust thru, I neglected to check for leaks. Like a sieve on both sides. Is there some known fixes?

Thanks
Jerry

The only thing I know (being a t-bar owner) myself, is that you can put the clear silicone/gel inbetween the plastic casing that scews into the body, & the body of the car.(If that makes sense). Mine worked for some time, howevr its just starting to leak again, and I noticed some of it had worn away, so I'll have to unscrew the plastic casings, and squirt a bit more of the stuff in there when I get around to buying some :) :) :)

hope that makes sense, if not, say so, & I'll try to explain it when Im not in such a rush, adios,

Baker
