I want to put a v8 with a new transmisson in my 98 t100 and i was wondering if there was anything else that i would have to do...

ya i wanted to do the sAME. i know im a lil late on your post but i had a 4.7 tundra motor and tranny. problem is: 1 wieght, the v8 is alot heavier and the stock t suspension is a lil stressed out on that, 2, ecu, good luck wiring in the modded harness, its not very easy, 3 size, i dnt measure but it would be pfm if it lined up and didnt hit anything and the mounts could be made. custom driveshaft too. maybe bigger radiator, and with the tundra, the tranny is junk to begin with, you need a tranny overhaul then mount cooler and lines. then if you have 4wd, have to somehow get into that. also you need a garage to do all this in and a car to drive in the mean time. lol. i still wan2 try tho.
