My 1997 Tacoma doesn't have a tach in it, so I went and bought one finally. Only problem is I dont have an owners manual so I can't see the electrical system to figure out where to hook the main wire. It says to hook it to the negative side of the ignition coil. Does this mean I have to actually tap it into one of the coil packs?
