I drive 70,000 miles per year. I am driving a Jetta TDI. It has
227,000 on it. I need to replace it in the next year or so. It has
been good, dependable, no glitches. My MPG is around 45-49 on a day to
day basis. I am fascinated with the Hybrid technology. What MPG can I
expect day in and day out? Most of my miles are highway, but not all.
I live in a heavy snow belt in the great lakes. I run winter tires on
the Jetta. Will the Toyota run 300,000 miles. If so, I want to talk to
someone that has done this! I have driven Volvo's well over 300,000.
The price of fuel is ruling out Volvo. My Jetta should run over 300,000.
I appreciate your feedback.
