On page 132 in my 2007 handbook is a procedure to test engine problem lights
The procedure is as follows

1 put on parking brake
2 open and close door
3 push power button 2x ,without stepping on the brake

4 On the display,it should show all the trouble icons,like battery,temp,and so on.

Does this work on your prius?
It does nothing on mine and the service people at the dealer say,the icons should only show up,if there is a problem,which doesnt seem right,after all,its a testing procedure
I see 60vieuws but no reply's.

Somebody out there should be willing to check that??
