Melb Cup Weekend - Oct 29 to Nov 1. One base camp with toilets and catered meals for everyone. Competitors can camp with the wife and kids. Winch Challenge format with re-grouping daily per progressive scores. Each day a speed stage, navigation stage, winch stage and a combo. 1 spectator area per day sees action on 3 stages at once. Night stage each night. Scrutineering on Friday is class measurement only. Free bon fire party (dinner & beer) on Tues night presentation. $1300 per comp car and $325 per spectator > 16 yrs - but remember you get fed (all meals), toilets, etc Cootawundi - 22km Sth of White Cliffs on Wilcannia Rd There will be 4 classes. Unregistered- where almost anything goes. Ideally suited for buggies, rock crawlers and Tuff Truck machines. Roll cages & harnesses required. C Class- 6pt roll cages & harnesses. B Class- 4pt roll cages. A Class- club level 4x4 vehicles; no roll cages. This means there will also be 4 winners. Everyone will need front mounted winches, a gps unit, good lighting and helmets. For safety reasons, courses may vary between classes so that everyone faces a challenge without undue risk.
