The Hybrids are one of the few vehicles in the world that can help you save on gas. Other than having a hybrid you can improve you gas mileage by slowing down speed less, gradually slow for stop lights, avoid abrupt accelleration, link several short trips together, starting with the farthest away trip first, don't let your car be idle for long periods of time, keep your car properly maintained, calculate your gas mileage on a regular basis, purchase a fuel consumption guage, and reduce your use of your car airconditioner. If you follow these tips with your Hybrid gas will never be a problem for you! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/57.gif)

Good tips. In keeping it properly maintained, don't forget to check your air filter. It can destroy your gas mileage if it needs to be replaced.

Yes, I took my vehicle in to the shop because it seemed to be getting a lot less gas mileage and they told me that it was due to my FILTHY air filter! Be sure to change it according to your scheduled maintenance and more frequently if you drive on dirt roads often.
