Does anyone know how to reset the tire pressure sensor light ? The light is blinking & I would rather reset it instead of taking it to my Toyota Dealer.

I have a 2004 Runner and had the same problem. However, I did take it to the dealer and they told me that one of my tires was underinflated. The mechanic took it for a ride and brought it back with the light off and problem fixed.

My Advice: Take it to the dealer since your 4runner is still under warranty. It shouldn't cost you anything and it will give the dealer a chance to check if anything is wrong. It only took 20 minutes.

I am a Toyota tech . Make sure all tires including spare tire pressures are the same.

Armed with an accurate tire pressure gauge and tires filled to their recommended pressure levels, can the tire pressure sensor light be reset w/o a trip to the dealer? If so, how. (Just something I'd like to jot down in my owners manual). Thanks
