This looks like a really interesting model. I think my father would've loved to have a car like the Caldina, because that was totally his style! I must confess that right until now that I saw the picture, I've never seen it before! Are they available in teh States? Of course I have never seen it in Germany either! I think I'll just get into the Toyota websites to check out all the models they have around the world! Thanks for sharing those pictures!

Hey guys,

I just booked my caldina gt4 n-spec. will be taking the car after chinese new year.

Btw, its really nice to see a forum on it. Freaking awesome car is all i can say. Also agreeing with some of the guys here dat this car should be enjoyed with at least a GT4. Cos other than it being a great looking car, going for the 2.0 na also opens up your scope for alot of better cars out there. ( no offence )

However, if its a GT4 or the GT4 nspec ( with LSD ), ( no punt intended ) it has little or few rivals as far as looks and performance is concern. The only reasonable car i can think of that can rival a GT4, would be the Subaru Forrester STI. Other than dat......hmm.....guys, we r alone......at the top. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/clap.gif)

Well, anyway cheers to the current and soon to be owners of a great car.

Hi Grass,

Sure Thing! We should meet up!...but im only collecting my car after CNY. In fact just went shopping today. Bought an APEXI turbo timer, the HKS S-SQV BOV, a radiator cooling plate by C-ONE for the Caldina. Still considering the Apexi AFC Neo....well....RM1100+ for only 10 horses...hmm....wat do you think? Oh and the torque drops too...by 1.5kg...Review of the AFC is in the current issue of HyperTune mag.

Btw, will be away for CNY so lets meets up after dat. You can reach me @ donovan7@pacific.net.sg

cheers and Happy CNY !!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/57.gif)

Hi boys,

I am from Singapore and is awaiting the arrival of my Caldina GT4. This is a great car and mine will be the first Turbo version on Singapore roads. Would like to make more friends from other countries driving the same car especially those from Malaysia.

Cheers.

Heya!

Its just so so nice to see more and more ppl in this forum. Carysma, congratulation for being the first GT-4 owner in SG....realise that too...every Caldina in SG that i come across are the NAs. Actually the reason for my sg mail is that im a s'porean too...only that im being posted and stationed here in KL. In fact just today, i just purchase a TOM's Super RAM II air filter and a singular Defi Boost gauge ( with control unit) for my car. Do drop me a mail if you need info on parts or equipments in Malaysia.

Cheers

the D4 engine with problems is not unheard of. previous problem encountered by othere vehicles includes the rav 4 and nadia which has the same problem. thats y the previous nadia is using leaded instead of unleaded. the unleaded fuel for Malaysia has to much sulfer .. o something like that. so the engine wears and tears. u can ask all car dealers regarding this especially toyota. By the way i tried out all the different caldinas before i bought mine. i am working offshore.. so dammm .. i miss drivving my new babe. Once you get into the caldina .. FUHHh u r going to buy it .. i sat mine in a sec.. and i hav no intention of trying out other cars.. enjoy ur try outs....

upp..If u want to get a caldina..might as well get the N-spec GT4..I got mine last month..Damnnn!!...the best I had so far...in terms of performance, dont say la...confirm syiokkkkk!!

cheers!!
