Is the spare parts ready available here in KL ? When you test the car what should i look out for ? Sorry to ask so many questions here kinda naive about car. Hope to hear from all of you here. thks

Hi there,

1) on FC - most of my caldina GT4 geng say they can run around 360-380km/ full tank (RM 105)..but I manage to go 480km with my GT4 with same amount oledy which is around 9km/L..I think its depend on way u drive as well..if pedal to metal mentality, dont talk bout FC..anyway 360km/full tank its normal for a turbocharge car.

2)spare part is available in wing hin (KL) or TOMs (Bangsar)..Wing Hin is sole distrubutor of Toyota parts in malaysia and TOMs distrubute TRD stuff

3)When test the car - best thing is to bring ur frens who a familiar with car condition (mechanic perhaps).

4)Few shops in Sunway also sell caldina parts (bit expensive) and do servicing too

hope it helps

cheers!!

well the 3s is powerful. and so far i think its one of the most reliable engines that came from toyota. Did you know that even the Japan Gt 500 supras use the 3sgte for racing. 3s is also used in the toyota altezza albeit in N/A form and past generations of the mr2.

so far i'm getting around 4++km for rm100. which translates to about 9km/l of petrol.

for a car with this kind of power i would say that the consumption is pretty decent.

just my 2 cents... don't flame me
