Hi there, you guys are right that it's very difficult to find information on the caldina. If there's is any owner out there that is driving a 2.0gt4 or the vvti version I would like to know very much on differences of power. Also importantly the fuel consumption, i suppose the gt4 will be very thirsty but still curious to know to what extend. Appreciate anyone out there who can advise as an owner, planning to get one this november.

Hi guys,

Price for Caldina in Malaysia is around MYR 170-180k for GT4 n NA around MYR 140-150k. I did finally made up my mind and bought the Caldina ZT specs for 137k. This is the one that have blue display like the GT4 and a bit of blue lining on the dashboard, seats n bodykits but the engine is still VVTI-D4. Now waiting for the registration no and in a week or two i would really own one. hahahha..I did test drive the car and i think it was fantastic. The acceleration wasnt that bad, control n all was fine. What can i do...not enough money for GT4.

Cheers.

Hai aq maaruf,fx jerry & Davc (IMG:style_emoticons/default/00000732.gif)

Welcome to the club!..it seems that this forum getting popular...hehe..nice to see you all joining the forum..hope by now we can start to share some ideas and information about the cald..its doesn't matter either its a Gt-4 or a Na.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/gunsmilie.gif)

Hai Davc...im from Brunei too..Have you order the Caldina yet? well about the fuel consumption, hehe of course a Na much more better(more economy) then a turbo engine..But, if you plan to get a performance car,try to get a caldina GT-Four N edition or at least a GT-Four edition..you will satisfy with the 3s engine.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/s12.gif)

Have you come over to BKB? if i not mistaken, they still got one cald for sale..or try some where near the Tungku Link...i've seen one or two cald there..both Na and GT-Four...

Btw aq maaaruf and fx jerry..how you done any mod yet on your cald? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/57.gif)

my caldina is a gt-four from year 03 but reported as 02. not to demotivate you but the ZT model has a slight problem. if u realize not many dealers import this model due to the engine problem (D4 engine). the fuel we are using in malaysia is not suitable for it. so be careful when u think about getting the zt model. also, make sure u scourge around for addtional options such as reverse camera n sunroof...some comes with it.. u dun want to lose out. i nought mine from s'wak, Miri. round RM160k. Great car..... extrodinarily grabs people attention when u drive by .... trust me on this ....
