My 1999 Toyota Camry 2.5V6 changes inti OD with quite a thump around 50 to 60kph when you throttle off.
Could this be a fault with the throttle position sensor?
Up changes under normal acceleration are smooth.
Did not have this problem with the 1997 Gracia just sold.

It could be any of a number of causes, mechanical or electronic. Are you getting any codes from the computer? That would be the first place to check. The shifting is controlled by the computer. If youy're not getting any codes (which you can use to diagnose the problem), then I suggest you have a diagnosis run at a transmission shop or at a dealer. Good luck. Hy
