Toyota Motor Corp. ™ said July sales at its U.S. unit fell 7.3% to 224,058 vehicles from 241,826 a year earlier, when there was one fewer selling day.

On an adjusted basis, sales fell 3.5%.

The company said sales at its Toyota Division fell 8.4% to 196,917 vehicles from 214,867 vehicles. Passenger car sales shrank 13.8% to 112,153 vehicles from 130,109 vehicles. On an adjusted basis, the division's sales fell 4.5%.

Lexus brand sales rose to 27,141 vehicles from 26,959 a year earlier.

Light-truck sales in July rose to 84,764 vehicles from 84,758.

Before you start running around in a circle screaming, "THE SKY IS FALLING, THE SKY IS FALLING", consider this: Ford was down 19% and GM was down 22%.

Okay, I have to ask, where was Dodge?

I think the only reason why Toyota went down was because of the prices .... That AND, IMHO people already have good vehicles. Consider how ever many people bought Toyota in the past few years.. They already have a good truck so they didn't need a new one LOL.
