Hi I am New to this forum and we own a 2000 100 series Toyota Landcruiser GXL. My husband and his mates went out 4x4 ing and drove through some water at the edge of a dam (up to the door sills). Since this we are having starting problems. When it is cold it is fine but when it gets to running temperature it will sometimes stall. If you turn it of it is very sluggish to turn over and start. Have had the batteries checked and they are fine.

Does anyone have any ides?

we have had the same problem with our 1997 80 seris diesel after towing someone out of some deep water, it usually starts ok first time, but if you stop it then try to restart it it, it wont, (it spins over on the starter fine, but the engine wont fire up) but if you leave it for a while (say 6 hours) it usually starts?

have been told that the immobiliser on the fuel injector pump can play up giving these exact symptoms
