Hello everyone. I picked up a 1987 toyota supra turbo off a buddie of mine in mass. I got her for $300! She needed new rear fender wells and fenders though thanks to rot and rust. I replaced them gave her a tune up, water pump, thermostat, fan clutch, upper hose, rear end, new rims and tires and she was good to go. I've been having a cooling issue with it lately. If it idles it runs fine and doesn't budge over the middle of the temp gauge. When I drive it long distances like an hour and a half and/or 100 miles, the gauge spikes and it seems to form air pockets, esp. if i stomp on it and let the turbo spool up. Whats wrong?!

I think the new supras are better than the old ones at anything they are really great for racing.
