all dash boards lights come on - it sit for a second try couple times - then car starts

Sounds like a faulty switch somewhere...ignition switch or even a solenoid...maybe a loose wire somewhere inbetween the ignition and starter? I admit, I am just guessing, hoping that it gives you ideas on how to resolve your issue.
