My local (honest) mechanic told me the transmission fluid on my 2006 Matrix (under 20,000 miles) was dirty and should be changed, under warrantee, by the dealer. So, I took it to the dealer, who said that the newest Toyota transmission fluid is amber, not pink - as it was in the past. My local mechanic called **** on that - says the dealership is not telling me the truth. Anyone have any experienced like this?

yea sounds like dealership is being lazy... the **** call was right on.. tellem to replace it
