I just bought a 92 camry w/4cyl and the guy I bought it from told me that the transmission fluid when the engine is cold measures above the "hot" line? and he says that the transmission works best at that level? I figure something is amiss here.. could the stick be a stick from another vehicle? the stick is a dark brown color at the handle and measures roughly 26 inches in length... It has no part number but is definitely a dip stick for "a" tranny. any ideas? Thanks in advance!!! Jeff

Compare it with the listed one at a Toyota Dealer's Parts Dept.. Calling with length specs might work but seeing is better. I can easily see an error in the factory or afterwards possibly due to a model change.

Good Luck!
