check engine light was on showed speed sensor replaced sensor on trans ,now trans starts out in 2nd and checkengine light still on. please help ---thanks

I just had the same problem, took my 01 Rav4L to the dealer for the ECM upgrade and had the Transmission Computer replaced ($708 plus $45 labor) and now it runs better than new.
