Hi Guys and Gals...

I just picked up an '82 Tercel today that it going to be used for getting around. After look at a lot of +/- $500 cars, this little gem was perfect. I currently have an '08 Focus, but due to my "consumer proposal" (Albertans and Ontarions will know what this is), that car is being repossessed.

The '82 is pretty much road ready, but the previous owner says that the transmission pan seal has a leak. Is that an easy thing to fix?

Yes, Its very much easy. If you are going to replace the seal, Goto to parts store and ask for the filter kit...If you are going to remove the pan you might as well change the filter on the tranny as well as a fluid change.... Fluid 15-19 $ filter kit- no more than 15$ BUT make sure its the right filter kit and MAKE SURE IT COMES WITH THE PAN SEAL. some folks sell the filter with out the seal so check that .....
