Words from the man himself Reg R. on the toyota
crystal filter.

I have always run this Crystal
filter on my JZA-80 during the One Lap. I
don't
change the filter during the race at all, drive the car
down from
Canada run the race and drive it home
again. This year I drained the oil out
at the
Carolina Rod Shop before the Sebring event I replaced only
the oil
with fresh Superflow 5-50. After the race
when I returned home to Canada I
change the 14,700
Km old filter and set it aside in a wad of paper
towel to
allow it to drain empty. Later I cut it
open to look for anything that may
have come out of
the engine during the long and hard track and road
miles of
the One Lap. If the filter looks clean as
it always has been, I know my
engine is still
A-OK. If not, I know I have to go inside the
engine.

Cheers for now guys.

Reg
