I have a 95 T100 SR5 with 150,000 miles and just had it serviced with new plugs, plug wires and not too long ago a fuel pump.. It starts and runs fine most of the time but after short trips, it will take a long time cranking then start.. I look at the tail pipe and when it has trouble starting and it puffs black smoke then runs fine.. A friend told me it is an ignition problem because the black smoke indicates it is burning the fuel that was dumped while trying to ignite?? Since the fuel pump, plugs and plug wires are new, what could be the problem? Thanks for any help!
