I gotta another one, if anyone has any tips, again it would be appreciated by a hopefully soon mkIII owner... my friend with a turbo buick has been telling me that turbos have a life span... I was wondering what the life span of the turbos in the mkIIIs (87-92) are... anybody know?

Corollaboy you have asked the 64K $ Q. If you find out let me know! My turbo on my III at 90k was unnecessarily rebuilt and at 6K is throwing metal now.

Hello Daron ie "Corolla Boy" Let me say first (after my 4th beer) that I am amazed anyone was even out there in cyberspace seeing my messages! I was using the shotgun aproach (SP?) and scattering my messsages all over, sending them to myself I guess and to members a year old who probably don,t care any more about supras or turbos anymore. That might be a good guess however, the 100k bit. After 90K my radial play was at it's max per rebuilder. The forward and backward play (thrust?) was OK.
