well i have been told by a turbo mechcanist (Mike
Vine Turbos Carindale - Mike) that the CT26 cannot be
replaced by a garret unless you have a exaust manifold
change<br><br>"The stud pattern of the CT26/toyota is unique to
toyota only all over the world" - Mike<br><br>so people
who are saying on thier web sites that the next stage
is to upgrade the turbo to a garret are talking
about a rather large step<br><br>consequently i asked
him about upgrading the existing turbo (hi-flowing)
<br><br>he said the CT26 is equivalent to a T04 good for
20-22psi if the state of the turbo and engine is good and
the engine has been set up correctly<br><br>he also
said that thier are no other replacement parts that
are bigger/greater in size than what is already in
there<br><br>if any1 out thier can despute this claim please post
a msg<br><br>also does any1 kno of an online
workshop manual for the MKIII or if any1 could send me a
copy <br>(needed rather urgently)<br>msg please if
this applys to you
