Sorry I can't help you out too much with the valve adjustment, but to find cool stuff for Cruisers go the TLCA webpage (www.tlca.org) and go to the member business section. There you will find pretty much anything you will need. While you are in there (if you go) look around a little bit. there is a lot a lot of really cool stuff in there. Hope that helps a little. Take care,

-ben

I've done this job several times myself and the most helpful tip I can bestow is to mark the crank pulley at TDC so that you can rotate it to the right place without looking through the bell housing each time. Getting to the hole in the bell housing requires the skills of a contortionist and a mirror. Hopefully this will make some sense. Write me if not. Get the factory manual and follow the instructions. Make sure you heat up the engine before you do it. The valves need to be set hot. Getting off the valve cover is a little bit of a nusance, but you will quickly find what needs to be loosened. You don't have to drain any coolant or remove any hoses, but you do have to pull the 2 bolts which hold the throttle and cruse control cables and a few connectors need to be disconnected. Make sure you put it all back after you finish or you're not going to be too happy.

Write if you need more information or have problems. Good luck.

Paul
