truck sounds like has bad valve lifter but truck doesnt have lifters so any help would be great truck is 22re

Location: USA
check for valve tapping. put a piece of fuel hose in your ear and place other end on valve cover. listen to see if valves are tapping on valve cover. adjust accordingly.

also could be oil starvation best bet pop valve cover off and chek if u got gunk in there.. while ur at it minus well check/adjuct valve and rocker clearances..in is .o8 and ex is .12
