Can someone tell me what you call the plug, that plugs into the headlight to give it electricity. Thnaks

Are you talking about the fuse that plugs into the box (usually under the steering wheel)? That's the only thing I know that "gives" electricity to anything.

The plug is called a "connector". So it would be the headlamp connector.

Not to show my ignorance or anything, but are parts ever called something different in different countries? Or different areas of the United States, for that matter. I was just thinking of how hard it is for yankees and southerners to communicate and that confusion about what is what in a car might not be unlikely.

Some of my best friends are from Alablama and are engineers. Smartest people i ever met.

I can only speak for terminology used in Canada vs US, and we use the same parts names. The after-market repair manuals are typically from the US. We have a number of auto assembly plants in Ontario. Up here, we use the same terminology as you folks down there.

Canadians and Americans are just like cousins. Second cousins, because we can be married to each other....LoL...oh that's a good one. I just made that up....LoL !!!

But it's true my friend.
