We have a 2002 Highlander 4x4. The VSC light comes on and stays on. Is it possible that VSC has been disabled and needs to be enabled?

Foudn this on a site (http://en.allexperts.com/q/Toyota-Repair-832/Check-engine-VSC-light.htm)

Any time the check engine light turns on the VSC/TRAC control is disabled and the warning lights come on, the primary concern is the check engine light which is probably emission control related and not a driveability issue.
It needs to be checked with a scantool to retreive the trouble codes, even though there may be trouble codes stored for the ABS/VSC/TRAC ignore them until the engine trouble code is fixed first, after that the other warning lights will turn off after the codes are cleared.

Hope that helps.

Does this mean it is okay for me to drive for a couple days with this light on? It just came on today, and since tomorrow is a holiday and I have to drive about an hour away Tuesday morning, I am wondering if it is okay until about Wednesday.
