I am new to this Forum, I ran into it accidentally while trying to find a solution to my warning light identification problem. My 1993 ex-Japan Corolla FXGT with 1.6 20 valve 4AGE engine has a warning light which is not in the New Zealand-sourced manual. It normally comes on at ignition and goes off with the rest after engine starts. Now it has begun to illuminate during travel and I don't know what it means. It is yellow/orange in the shape of a car with what look like rays of sunshine around the rear-end.

I hope someone knows this .

OK I found out the answer. It meant one of the stop/tail bulbs ( 4 in my case) had a filament blown. The warning light only came on when I pressed the barke pedal and stayed on until reset by ignition off.
