My father was a big fan of Mercedes Benz, and I know he would've loved the Toyotas, but he died 20 years ago, when all those nice cars were not yet available in Venezuela. He had 3 Mercedes Benz. One of them became my car, and his favorite was the Station Wagon, that had 2 silver containers on top to carry stuff. They were cars that performed very well. With one, my parents had an accident, they were driving at 120Kph on a country road and hit a cow that jump on to the road. The car was practically totalled... but the cabin was intact. They did not get even a cut from the glass.
The design is really good. Anyone have experiences with Mercedes Benz?

Last night went out with a friend. She has a Mercedes Benz 280, 1997. It is a fairly long car compared with the rest of the cars you can find in Europe. When went to park, she had to turn around right on the spot where she was going to park, and I was amazed about the turn of the car! The way the wheels went, made her only turn once the stearing wheel completely and that was enough! I was surprised, because with an even smaler car, I know I would've have to turn the stearing wheel at least twice... so, that is another thing about Mercedes Benz...

I just posted under Jags. My brother sold his Jag after only 5 months and bought a Benz. He loved it! Said it's been put on his top 5 cars he's ever owned list.

They are great cars. I've been shopping around online for an older diesel station wagon to have here in the country. Those things are like hen's teeth to find now because they're so easily converted to bio-diesel.
Great, great cars!

BTW, we bought one of the Mercedes mini like things up in Scotland. For the 80 mile drive to the nearest big grocery store that thing was great!
