The 1.6L 4A-FE engine is the only engine that will bolt up to your original transaxle. It's only 103 HP, so it's not particularly fast.
The only option you have for a larger engine is to include the transaxle with it. The 1992 Celica had a 2.2L engine that produced 135 HP. That's a little improvement, but the transmission gearing is a little taller too, so you won't see that much more torque at the wheels. Plus, for a nearly 17 year old car, that is a lot of cost to consider if the original drivetrain otherwise runs well.
