Hi There,

I have a '93 Hiace with a 2.8 non Turbo Deilel and my batterys dont seem to hold a charge if I leave it sittnig for more than two days straight. I killed them at one point and that may have just finished them off as I dont know how old they are. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what type of batteries I need to replace them. They're both in parallel and I would like to buy the biggest baddest batteries I could find, possibley ones that I could have warrantied anywhere in North America. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris

I'm looking to change the starter battery in my hiace also as it still has the original jap battery... I've been unable to find anything equivalent using the numbers off of it.... has anyone fitted a new starter battery to their super custom and if so what did they fit....cheers

Hey Jimsmim,

If you don't get an answer I'll find out for you. Your vehicle looks similar to mine although for some reason my popup, pops-up the opposite way.

I'm going to be taking my vehicle to Japanoid and have them check it over as I dont trust the place I bought it from (Silk Road). I will be asking them
to find me the baddest batteries around but I'll be dar*ned if I can figure out what type they are. Does anyone have any experience with Maximum Overdrive? I'm not sure which is the best place to take my vehicle whether Japanoid www.japanoid.com or Maximum Overdrive www.maxoverdrive.ca

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks... How did the Isuzu battery work?I'm replacing my battery today. It was drained at the vehicle lot.

I'll let you know what me and my mechanic decide to replace it with.

So what kind of batteries did you get for your Hiace and where did you get them? I live in Victoria and I may be shopping for new batteries sometime soon.
