What made you choose your Cressida? What made you pick Cressida over all the other available vehicles out there? What do you love about your Cressida?

it was dirt cheap at $1500 CAN for a '90 :)

its in great shape, pretty low milage at under 190,000kms.

fell in love with it when i start to realize that its handling and size fits me like a glove. plus all the extras and features don't hurt. power is nice too, i love taking off at a green light and watching people look around trying to figure out if its really that old silver sedan roaring like a beast:)

It was dirt cheap at $1500 US for an '83 :)

I got mine as my first vehicle (and so far my only vehicle). AC didn't work, and the transmission pan had a dent in it. Gas tank leaked also (or so the guy that i bought it off of said). first day i got it, changed the oil, transmission fluid, inflated tires to 35 psi, and filled the gas tank. No problems whatsoever, and it gets an average of 30 mpg! plus, like stated above, i love being in a "granny car" and beating newer cars off of a red light, especially since mine could be considered an antique (and is older than i am!)

I have friends who have owner Cressida's and they all love them. They talk about the great gas mileage and the speed. Sounds like a great car.

Wow. If I ever have to buy an older-model car again, I'll definitely consider a Cressida after reading these remarks.

Yabba,
I was thinking the same thing. I passed the remarks on to a friend and that is what she went out to buy this afternoon. SO this forum helped at least one person make a decision!
