OK - I am new here. I recently bought a 92 FJ80 to use as a fishing truck and have some off road fun with my son. I bought the cheapest one I could find and so far have been enjoying it. OK, so I may want to tinker with it a little bit too, but I don't want to spend too much cash. The truck currently does not have a full set of matching tires. Although they are stock size (31x10.50) they are too small for my taste. The stock 15x7 alloy rims are there and in good shape. I have read on the web that I could go to 32" for sure or 33" depending on use without lifting the truck. Here is the problem. I want to stick to the stock rims if possible. 32x1150 and 33x1250 tires recommend a minimum of an 8" wide rim. Is this a real problem with say 32x11.5? I see BFG offers a 33x10.50 that would fit the stock rim. Any body out there run this size on their cruiser? Have any pictures? do you like'em? Thanks, JD

33" but I keep them narrow for the hard pack trails and snow here in the Northeast. Wide tires are only good for mud running and sand driving.
