I need to replace the starter in my pickup but i dont know where it is, i dont have a manual so i was just wondering if someone could explain to me where it is located. thanks

its under the intake manifold at the rear of the engine

Assuming you have the V6, it's on the passenger side, just about under the engine. You can access it by removing the access panel in the front passenger wheel well.

ahhhh i did not see that it was 4x4 so probably is v6

my 91 is 4x4 with a 22re still the starter is on the pass side if you take that panel off it is right there pretty easy to replace
