Drives: 1990 2.4d toyota hi lux

hey evry1, i recently fitted an alternator to my 1990 2.4d hi lux and stupidly i let the wires from the alternator touch the earth which i guess would have blown a fuse but i cant find it any where. other simptoms since this r the radio doesnt work nor does the clock when you turn the ignition on and the only light on the dash is the battery light. please help
