I am in southern Utah and mine came through Long Beach. I would guess that yours will too. Most likely by I-15 and over to Colorado on I-70. It was two weeks between the port call and the dealership loading it off the truck.

Can't answer your question, Russ, but I am also in Colorado Springs. Don't think there's a port around here close by.
Just ordered my own MY'02 loaded up 'cause I've been driving an '85 Toyota pickup since I bought it new, very basic, and I'm ready for toys. Can't wait 'till October, but no choice 'cause I gotta have all those buttons.
What color did you order? I'm getting white. Will be watching out for you... You folks in CA don't know how few concerned and responsible people are out here in the sticks.
Also - how was you're experience with Liberty Toyota? I have had a constant struggle with clueless/lying sales guys, clueless dealership. It took until today for the dealer to believe me that I could already order a MY'02 (even though I brought in all the new stuff from the Prius web page)- they had no info. I had received my number from the web page 6/1. I got the sales guy (who was actually trying to be helpful, if slow to do it) to call the Toyota district manager today, and I (hope) I have an order in, although not yet confirmed.
Hope you get yours soon.
James

I live in Albuquerque, NM. My Prius arrived in Long Beach and went by rail through Albuquerque to Denver, back the Belen, NM and by truck to Albuquerque. The Denver regional Representative called me to tell me when it arrived.

Richard: Wow, you got one well-travelled Prius by the time you took delivery!

It would be neat if the Prius had a small "wind" generator (in addition to its regenerative braking) so the big battery could get charged during all that rail and truck transport, and then later when coasting. I'm joking, of course: A wind generator would have too much drag ... but it would be neat to grab some "free" volts from the train & truck.

... or, on the boat from Japan, they could use wave action, wind and solar panels to charge the Prius batteries ... ;-)

- Peter
Toyota: Ignore my suggestions in this message only. ;-)
