Congrats on the decision to buy a toyota. It's one of the best vehicles out there so be assured it's the right decision. Are you buying new or used? If you're buying used try to check out the car's history buying used can always become complicated if you don't do your homework. But good luck on the new purchase.

Sequoias are pretty solid vehicles. I know they recalled them for the ball joints a year or 2 ago, but other than that they are pretty much trouble-free.

Hi and welcome. Yes, Toyotas are fabulous - you are doing the right thing.
I agree that you need to check out the vehicle's history if you're buying used- that's always a good idea.
On some vehicles, carfax.com will actually give you the information for free! I think all you need is the VIN.

I noticed that! We can blame on "angelicwriter" for bringing an old topic back to life again. (IMG:http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/images/smilies/slap.gif)

This might be a 2 year old post, but I recommend reconsidering the Sequoia and buying a Chevy Suburban. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/s12.gif)
