First and foremost, Hello!

I have rebuilt my FJ 62 and was ready to start the new engine.. I had no one to help me set the distributor so I had to try and start the truck then run around to the distributor and try to set it. This did not work very well, however it did start and ran like a raped ape, now I can get it to start. I had a friend help me dianose the system and there are no code in the computer. Everything checks out but I can't get it started. HELP!
