I actually delivered pizzas in my 86? supra in the snow last year. It handled OK once you got it moving, but it was hard to get it to start going forward. I actually got stuck on a dead end street that had an incline that you would barely notice, but kept the car from going anywhere, and it was in only about ? inch of snow! If you're an absolute Toyota freak I recomend finding a Tercell stationwagon, they're actually pretty fun to drive. They come with four wheel drive, go anywhere, and are as reliable as an ax. Here in Ohio I can find them for $300 to $600 with high miles. Mine had 220,000 miles on it when I got it and I drove it for over a year with no problems and it actually pulled several stuck vehicles out of my driveway (we called it the Mighty Yota). Anyhow, they're cheap, and you can prolong your MKIII's life by keeping it out of the snow and salt, and out of control F-150's. I'm on my second MKIII because I drove mine in the snow.
