OK... Here's the scoop... I am a high school graduate who just barely snuffed by this year. This was mainly because i had a senior project that i almost didnt get done. My project was to take my old blown up 87 Yota pickup, and re-build the engine and convert it from an auto to a standard. Not exactly the most simple thing in the world, right? Well i got a good deal on a 22R-TEC for the same year. i figured it wouldnt be to hard to make that work for my truck, since it had the 22R-E engine in it. Well, i as i stated above, i figure may as just change everything over from the other truck, including the tranny... which was standard. i guess the wireing harnesses dont exactly ' agree' with each other. I almost had it done and i went to hook those last few things up, and guess what... there diffrent... so i guess why im posting this is to see if i can find another wiring harness for the inside of the cab that would work for 22R-E, 22R-TEC standard tranny... either that or help me figure out something for it...

Thank You!

You need the ECM (and harness) from the 22RTE. The 22RE ECM won't do it.
The only other choice is an aftermarket add-on turbo management system (not cheap).

The auto to manual conversion is no big deal. Ideally you want the tranny and t-case that came with the 22RTE cause it's stronger. Of course you need the clutch pedal assy, slave and MC and hoses.

well see i have the transmission and clutch system set up... thats not the issue

Its mainly the wiring on the inside of the cab... the wires wont line up for the auto to manual conversion... wouldnt the wires go to the right spot? And do the same thing?
